Benjamin Foss Fan Fret Acoustic Guitar w/ LR Baggs Anthem SL – Honduran Mahogany & Sitka
This beautifully crafted fan-fret acoustic from independent luthier Benjamin Foss offers premium tonewoods and thoughtful design in a modern, ergonomic package. With Honduran mahogany back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, rosewood binding, walnut rosette, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge, this instrument strikes a clean, warm, and balanced tonal profile.
The fan-fret multiscale design (25.1" to 26.5") allows for consistent tension and clarity across the strings, particularly useful for fingerstyle or dropped tunings. The guitar has a big, bold voice with exceptional clarity and separation, while blending smoothly when strummed.
Action is currently set to 7/64" to 8/64" at the 12th fret, with potential to go lower (around 5/64") with a saddle adjustment. Overall in very good condition with minor dings, signs of play, and scattered finish blemishes (see photos).
