Guild X-161 Savoy Charcoal Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Vintage c. 1990 w/HSC
1 in stock
This X-161 is a rare bird in outstanding condition, especially considering that it’s about 30 years old and it looks brand new! It features an arched maple top and back along with maple sides and 3-piece maple neck topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. In addition to that much, it also features the rare charcoal finish, a bound top and back, all original electronics featuring 2 Guild humbuckers and respective volume/tone controls, Grover tuners, a 24-3/4″ scale, a height-adjustable, compensated rosewood bridge, and a Guild-lyre tailpiece. Functionally it’s in exceptional condition, set up with very low action, just the right amount of relief, and tone for weeks at a time. There is one small chip in the finish behind the nut on the treble side, but aside from that there isn’t a ding present. It’s included with a hardshell case in outstanding condition. Overall, this is an exceptional instrument that you could be searching for years for another to come up and still be short-handed, don’t miss out!
