Arthur Godfrey Vega Vintage Baritone Ukulele c.1950’s w/HSC
Out of stock
Wowee, this Vega Arthur Godfrey Baritone something special, alright. Featuring a full mahogany construction and ladder bracing internally, this thing has held up through the years beautifully and was made right in the first place. The sunburst finish looks excellent atop the wood grain of the mahogany and has aged very well, all things considered. It does have some wear on the treble side of the sound hole from playing, other small dings around the edges of the side, and some finish wear in the back likely from a shirt or some other sort of similar means. Nothing that’s truly detrimental, and this thing is as solid as ever. Note how deluxe is spelled “DE LUXE” (literally “of luxury” in French), to really emphasize the build integrity that’s present. Included with the instrument is a hardshell case in great shape as well. They sure don’t make them like this any more; it plays with low action, a very full-bodied tone and it holds tune! What more could you ask for!
