Here we have a beautiful early 1900s Bacon Peerless Vintage Tenor Banjo in very good condition. Plays wonderfully with a pronounced, supple tone. All-maple construction, 11″ rim with 24 brackets and a 17-fret fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Set up with a Grover Non-Tip bridge, replacement tuners, and a real skin head. Headstock crack that was glued up and appears to be stable. Very clean, overall, for an instrument of this age. A wonderful piece suited for many playing styles, bound to appreciate.
