For sale is a 1960s-era Kay Jumbo-size Acoustic guitar in decent, as-is condition. All laminate construction with a sunburst finish. Overall weight 5 lbs 3 oz. Playability overall is decent with a big sound, chunky neck shape. Original plastic nut was replaced with a bone nut, plenty of glue-ups and other repairs around the body (see photos for detail). Price for the condition as-is, but the next owner will enjoy it for what it is or love it enough to give it some restoration work. Action is set at spec and plays with minimal buzzing. Has had some work done to it in the past; the back has been glued back on at the bottom of the guitar, frets have been heavily planed and not crowned, and some cosmetic work too. Its an old guitar thats been well loved, so it has an appropriate amount of wear and tear. There is some separation of the heel from the body. It is now sporting a new bone nut. Has a very mid-focused tone - good for cowboy chords! Nut width: 1 5/8" Scale: 25.5
