Furthermore, the D-17 matches its refreshed Standards-series siblings with a host of fresh new features for Martin’s flagship lineup, including lively Golden Era forward-shifted X-bracing, beveled comfort edges on the ebony fingerboard, and a sleek vintage-style heel. Picky about your playability? The select hardwood neck’s GE Modified Low Oval profile and 1.75-inch nut width are geared to please high-speed flatpickers, fingerstyle pros, and couch strummers alike with a fast and comfortable feel.
