Used, in very good condition for its vintage - Martin D-28S Slope Shoulder Dreadnought. Serial Number 342764. This is a vintage piece from 1974 that came to us from the original owner and has been kept in wonderful shape. It has a wide neck, booming bass tones with cannon-like response and a great overall feel, easy playability. Solid rosewood back and sides with a spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Original Grover tuners in good working condition.
The action is at Martin standard spec. There is some minor lift on the fret-ends but does not effect playability. There is some slight buzziness towards the extension due to some relief in neck. There was a typical Martin pickguard crack repaired in the past that was done very cleanly before it came to us as well as a new pickguard. Minor fretwear, very light finish wear and tear. A short list of specs:
Nut Width: 1-7/8"
Scale: 25.5"
Weight: 4 lbs 14 oz
