Used, in good playing condition for its vintage - May Bell Vintage A-Style Oval Hole Mandolin. This old friend has seen some wear and tear, has had some of its internal braces sured up as well as a few home-brewed maintenance/fixes, but is doing just fine with a sweet sound! We have priced it to reflect some of the unoriginality, but it has a kind soul. A few tech notes:
Action set higher than spec, has a decent amount of relief and a typical "ski jump" at the body, which results in some buzziness (hence the higher action). Is missing finish in two patches on the back from pulling off low tack tape. Finish is very thin and flaky but has a pretty coloration. Unoriginal bridge, beautiful pickguard.
